Public Speaking in Maylands, Perth
Training Perth public speakers since 1974
“When we speak, we are afraid our words will not be heard or welcomed. But when we are silent, we are still afraid. So it’s better to speak.” –Audre Lorde
Golden beginnings, for a golden New year…
Welcome to the Banyandah Toastmaster Club page!
What better time to set new goals than on the cusp of 2022.
It’s that time of year where we pay tribute to & say goodbye to the year of old, and bring in the New, with fresh aspirations and energy. You may wish to take a moment to reflect on your achievements & memorable moments of the last 12 months, and celebrate those wins and acknowledge your efforts, regardless of the outcome. Then you can shut the door on 2021 and direct your energies to the results you wish to manifest in the year ahead.
What big goal is most important for you to tackle next? Perhaps you’ve always wanted to speak up and be more confident in the public arena, socially or even at work. If that’s the case, Toastmasters is an excellent forum to support your communication & leadership goals.
Our next meeting will be held on 10 January.
It will be a special meeting format, Open House style which we invite you to attend. Club members will be on hand to speak & answer your questions about your goals and how Toastmasters can support you to achieve them.
We look forward to welcoming you into the Toastmasters fold soon.
‘Til then, wishing you a Golden New Year!

What Our Members Say
Banyandah Toastmasters has given me the power to find my voice. I’m an introvert; public speaking doesn’t come naturally although within my heart I knew I could do it. I didn’t know how. I needed the tools, the advice, the feedback, the mentors, and the rewards to show me how.
Banyandah Toastmasters has given me all those and so much more than I imagined when I joined.
Confidence and self-esteem cannot be taught but I have gained both through my Banyandah Toastmasters journey.
I have been attending Banyandah Toastmasters for 10 years. I have found it incredibly valuable to me personally and professionally. I have learnt so much through practising and through being evaluated. There is no-one who doesn’t benefit from this training, as long as they prepare and practice. It is very reasonably priced and people here have been very positive and welcoming.
I first joined Banyandah Toastmasters to communicate better at work. From the start club members provided a friendly and positive environment. In addition to improving my communications, Banyandah provided many opportunities to challenge myself and grow.
I highly recommend the club.
There are opportunities for growth at Banyandah Toastmasters. I was able to benefit from a supportive and encouraging environment and to practice and improve my communication skills.
It has been an awesome experience.
