Easter Monday night’s themed Toastmasters meeting included the ghost who walks, heroic parents and a fair dinkum Aussie.
Dave hosted the evening and Marinko’s ‘genesis’ was word of the day. In their project speeches, Liz acknowledged generous quilters, Marcus persuaded and Amanda improved her water-skiing presentation. In turn, Lachlan, Liz and Marinko gave speech evaluations.
Joe presented hero-themed table topics to unsuspecting audience members for Marcus and Mitch to evaluate.
Markus as hark master creatively tested our listening and recall while Marinko highlighted interesting uses of grammar. Chloe captured dozens of ums and ers and Saveta timed everyone.
The evening ended with Kym evaluating everyone yet to be evaluated and presenting the president’s report. Congratulations to Mitch, our newest member!
